I added a Detonation films pre-keyed explosion to my film but when i tried to render it said " Could not create source filter" and then i couldn't render it. plz help!

i don't think i have seen somthing like that although you could contact tarn,axeman or even fxhomehelp

What explosion clip? Do you have the latest Quicktime and DirectX installed? What else is involved in the project in question? (effects, grading, etc.) At exactly what point do you see the error message?
