I downloaded the trial version of FXhome Photo Key 2 to try before I decide to purchase. First, how long can I use the trial version to make a decision if this works for me or not? I don't want a a surprise payment taken before I had a chance to decide.
Second, How do I upload one of my photos to test it out? I see the folder I want to use but no photos appear in the folder to pick.

Very new to this program,
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to know how to add text to an image that is visual but transparent such as a 3D effect but clear. confused:

There is no time limit on the trial. The full version is an entirely different installer, so you have to actually go into the store and make a purchase before you will be charged for anything.

To import a photo, you select Import from the toolbar, and click the Change button for the foreground or background, whichever you want to import. Then navigate to the image you want to import, and select it. If you have done this, and can't import the images, then they are likely in an incompatible format. TIFF, PNG, and TGA are all high-quality formats that work well. JPEG works as well.

You can't create text directly within the program. You would have to create an image containing the text and an alpha channel, then import that into the program as an overlay. From there you can adjust the size, positioning, and transparency to your liking.

Are there free programs to use for this option?

Thank you so much for your quick reply

I know you can do this in GIMP, the free open-source Photoshop knockoff. www.gimp.org

Aside from the fact that we don't do 'surprise payments' on principle, it is also completely impossible for any company to take a surprise payment without you first having provided your bank details.

Given that the demo at no point requests any account details, there is no way for a surprise payment to be taken. Payment can only occur if you specifically visit the FXhome.com online store.
