The nominations phase for the FXhome Awards 2009 is in full swing; many thanks to everyone that has already submitted their selections! If you haven't nominated yet, head over to the FXhome Awards page.

The really exciting news is that Tubetape is now an official sponsor of the movie categories. This means that not only will the winners gain massive respect and a special forum icon, they will also receive incredible filmmaking equipment:

  • Best Movie - lights and greenscreen gear worth over $700
  • Best Cinematography - lights worth over $900
  • Best Special Effects - greenscreen gear worth over $400

Prizes are also being lined up for the community categories, so make sure you keep those nominations coming in. The nominees will be announced on Monday 9th, so you've got one more weekend to submit your nominations.
