Alright, I'm having quite a big problem here, so bear with me as I try to explain it.

I am using the Neon Lights Effects to create Light Sabers in my movie. First, I added the Neon Light Effect to every frame of the movie, but, for somewhat reason, a bit after the first few seconds, they are not there!! Not even in render preview mode!! Why?!

Let's get to the bottom of this, In the first few Seconds of the movie, the Light Sabers display perfectly.
Picture 1.0
Notice that the movie is on it's start (with Neon glow on) and everything looks OK.

Now, when I move my clip a bit forward, the Light Saber dissapears.
Picture 1.1
You will see that the time tracker line is forward and there is no Light Saber.

Now, when I turn on the Neon Lights Effect edit mode, I can perfectly see that in the SAME frame there is a Neon Light Effects made, and it seems Ok.
Picture 1.2

You can also clearly notice that the "4 point" Neon Light Effects is made on the same frame and that the Neon Glow is on.

So I ask you all, why doesn't the Neon Light Effects appear, not even in rendered mode. One last point I want to make is that I think that it has something to do with this...
Picture 1.4
I don't know if you can really see it, but the color of the area in which the Light Saber shows up is slightly lighter shaded that the area in which the Light Saber doesn't show up, which is slightly darker shaded. Still, I don't know how to fix my problem.

I realize this explanation may be a bit vast, so feel free to ask if you have any questions. I beg for you help, I want the Light Saber to show up!!!

Did you right-click on the effect on the timeline and select "Duration" and set the effect to last as long as your entire clip? It looks in the first picture that you just have the effect lasting the default duration.

Just a thought

Did you alter the length of the effect so that it was as long as your movie?

Each effect you add to your project has a default length, which of course you can adjust to fit the specifics of your scene.

EDIT: I've just looked at your images, and this is indeed the problem. See how the pink line to the right of the words "Neon Light" on layer 2 of the timeline only extends for about 30 frames? That marks the duration of the effect. Once your playhead is outside the length f that pink line, you won't be able to see any effect there, because there is no effect there.

Use the Crop tool to drag the end of the effect to extend it to whatever length you need.
