what I need here is well if you've seen episode two, you know when they are at the jedi council and you can see those lines of ships out the window that is what I want. any feedback would help immensely!

Hmmmm - not sure what the ships look like - can you give me a reference pic? I have a pile of ships I have not even come close to renderiong yet and maybe these are them.

I'm sorry but I can't find a picture for the life of me but I will describe them to you and what they are are just kind of undetailed long ships that you see out of the windows of the jedi council chamber but I cant describe much more because they are always in the background and regardless if you know what I am talking about or not please reply and anyone who knows what I am talking about please reply. thanks

Woah, if I remember correctly, there were loads of ships in the background... perhaps a better way would be to create a plug-in for each individual ship, and then composite them in AlamDV? Just a thought biggrin

Yo kermz, as i have 3ds max up and running smoothly now, i would be happy to take some of ur meshes and turn them into plug-ins for u, if u r too busy...

just an idea, but it may get things done quicker, and i have trouble finding the meshes i need to help out...
