Weird thing I noticed about the credit movies; I downloaded a few of them and tried to put them on my movie but when I export the movie, the credit clip just shows up green and the "fxhome" logo just sort of flashes in and out.
Does anybody know how to get around this?

Have you got the divx codec installed?

If you continue to have problems you can always use the images instead.

We should really get around to updating those credit movies at some point.

Does this mean if you add one of these to your movie and then put it on DVD to show on other computers or TV or on YouTube that if the viewer does not have divx they will not be able to see the credit?

This won't happen because once you've added the credit to your film, you'll then render the entire thing out into one flat file (whether it's AVI or MPEG II etc etc) which means you'll be able to view the credit logo just fine in that format.

You only need the divx codec to view the source files from FXHome themselves. I've just recently created a DVD package for my latest film, and the credit clip shows up fine on there.

Ok I have divx now and I can view the credit movies. I have one down loaded but I can not seem to get them to import into iMovie 09. So I can place it at the end of my project.
What am I missing?

You have to import them into your Effectslab and place the clip at the end of your movie.

Really?
Because I was just using effectslab for adding the FX and iMovie for editing the clips together.
I was hoping to just tag it in at the very end after the credits roll.

I have one of the stills that I can tag in at the end with out issue but the credit movies look really cool!

Or you could just export the "credit" out of Effectslab and import the credit clip into iMovie after you rendered it out of Effectslab

iMovie is only going to be compatible with Quicktime clips, so to add them using iMovie will require converting them from AVI clips to .mov clips.

I always recommend Quicktime Pro, which is an excellent utility to have around if you are doing any kind of video work on a regular basis, but its not free. Only $30 though, so its not terribly expensive, and it is well worth it. As far as free ones, I'd just google "Free AVI converter" and see what you come up with.

I just tried to open the credit move that had sabers in it in my EffectsLab Pro as suggested and it said it can not because it is the "wrong type".

Any other ideas?

I would love to have these in my movies but at this point they are not making it very easy to do that.

Never mind.
I just worked out how to get it to open in EffectsLabPro.
I had to open a new blank project time line and then in Media open the .avi file and drag it in.

Good suggestion but if I may say(that rimed)how about Videowrap. I know YOU stopped selling them but try www.ebay.com for videowrap or to it here>>> http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Videowrap+for+sale Try the first site! Good deal!!! It was originally $70!
