Does it matter if the quality of your video's poster is absolutely horrid. Because the quality of the poster is very low and you can barely or probably not even understand the picture.

If you mean to upload it to the website Cinema, no, not really. But some people have very simple posters, so you could consider just make a simpler, higher quality poster.

That depends.

Do you want people to bother watching your video?

If the answer is yes, then you have to do a good poster. (doesn't have to be professional, but it has to show a bit of thought and care)

If the answer is no, then the poster quality doesn't matter.
