Just a few questions about the product. I am planning on purchaing it soon. http://fxhome.com/footage/special-effects

-Is there a digital download availbale or just a boxed item? Solved

-Does anyone know if you can get FX Perience if you buy the FX Home Special Effects DVD-ROM?

-Also, does FX Home need to be credited if you use these effects from the DVD in a movie? Even if you use a program other than elab to add them to the movie? Solved

Thanks.

-There is not a digital download.

-you have to have Vision lab to not have to credit videos.

You don't need to credit the DVD in any way. Although it's designed for the Lab products (and primarily VisionLab, or people with both Pros), the techniques involved can apply to most compositing software.

I think you only get points for software purchases.

I've got a couple questions about this.

What exactly is in the product? I read the description, and I understand explosions, smoke and fire; but you say "massive back catalogue of clip art and videos". Is this referring to the explosions/other, or something else entirely.

Finally, has it been converted so you can stick it in EffectsLab/VisionLab/Composite Lab?

The "back catalog" is basically the AlamDV plug-ins library that is available on the website, but converted to video clips or single still images for ease of use, if I am not mistaken.

Not sure what you mean by 'converted', but of course the footage can be imported into any of the Lab products.
