Hiya.

New guy on the block here (just picked up the complete package deal this morning).

My VideoWrap software is installed, and when I start it it asks for Activation. I browse to my program keyfile, hit next and it says "Thank you!"...everything is activated. I hit Finish. Open VideoWrap...and it asks for activation again. Basically, it's not 'remembering' that I already activated it.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

I'm running Windows XP-64 bit (and a dual boot to Windows XP 32-bit; both Pro). I've installed only on XP64. My VisionLab Studio did the same thing, but after the 4th or 5th time, it 'took'. I've tried a dozen times with VW, hoping it would catch, all to no avail.

(I have sent support an email...but nothing yet).

Thanks for any insight!

I have not had this problem but these are the things you could try

. if there is a ''remember button'' press it
. if not try:

>try remove the program and try again and see if there is a button to remember
>ask help by copying this link @ link- http://fxhome.com/company/contacts

You won't get a reply to your email over the weekend, as the crew aren't in the office again until Monday morning.

I suspect it could be some sort of permissions issue, regarding the permissions of the user account you are logged into on your machine. Are you logged into an account with full admin access? If not, try logging into an admin account, then boot up the program and activate it. Hopefuly it will remember. If not, then perhaps the crew will have an answer to your email come Monday.

Yeah, as Axeman says, this happens when the activation system can't transfer the key file to the correct location due to not having enough permissions. You could try running the program with administrator permissions (right click it and select 'run as administrator').

Hiya.

It decided to work after I uninstalled it, restarted, reinstalled, and plugged in my key file two or three times. Weird. Oh well, it's working like a charm now. smile Thanks guys!
