When I try to create an artifical zoom effect by enlarging my DV background footage, I get a shimmer / wobble during the background zoom in - which stops once zoom is complete.
Project settings are preset for Pal DV - 25 frame rate etc etc....
Media properties defaults at 50 field date - twice the frame rate but that may be normal.
Any solution pointers, anyone...?

Does the shimmer still occur when you play the rendered footage on a television? How much zoom are you adding? I'd suspect it is related to the interlacing, though I don't know straight off what exactly it is.

Nope, the shimmer is on the PC monitor when I render it on QT or AVI. Minimal zoom.

Well, if it shimmers on your monitor but not on a TV, then it is very likely an interlacing thing, and will hopegully go away when you de-interlace for your final version of the movie.
