For any of you have seen the movie, you'll know what i mean. The ones that are used to drop infantry onto the planets. If anyone could find a model and make a plugin, (any angles, i can work around them, however some basic forward one is needed) i would be most grateful. biggrin

Despite what many people say, Starship Troopers is one of the best and most fun to watch scifi's out there.

ive read battlefield earth, and seen the film. The film just left too much out, and there was too much slow-mo, the film really was awful. evil Which is a pitty, considering the book is quite good.

I agree - Starship Troopers is excellent!

I really enjoyed Battlefeild Earth as well... up until a point!
It was going soooo well until the humans started to train in the flight sims and becoming acomplished flyers in 3 days - after only ever riding horses!

It started very well then finished too fast - although overall, I'd still give it 4 stars for the fx and 'rat' refference by John T - very amusing! lol

The special effects were excellent! (particularly the thruster's heat ripple which I've been trying to recreate on my ships - Craig's Showreel in progress although I've tryed not to use the smoke as well.)

I shall look forward to Starship Troopers 2 - any idea on when it's planned release is?

this was taken of a web site.

An actual premise is unknown at this time, although Paul V. has given it some thought. His idea is that there are always more planets to be explored, more rounds to be fired, and more and bigger and smarter bugs.

Release Date: Unknown.

sweet.

anyone noticed that the politics in troopers was actually very well thought out and debateable on many accounts on what we would actually do or not do?

i will look around for a starship troopers drop ship mesh, and then make a plug-in for it right away, if anyone else can find a mesh for 3ds max of this particular model, then just PM me smile
