Firstly, yes there is, but secondly, those lightsabers aren't very good quality. You can get much better results than that with EffectsLab.

To get more specific answers, you will have to explain what aspects of 'this' you are trying to replicate, but in general using the 2-part ILM presets will give results much superior to what is in that video.

I like the alienated shape of the saber and the really big glow. and also how the clash fades in and out. not just pops out. does that answer your question?

Well, kind of, I guess. I don't really know what you mean by 'alienated shape', but the shape of the saber is entirely dependent on what shape you draw it; you can make the glow any size you want by moving the Glow Size slider, and how much you make the clashes fade in or out is entirely up to you as well, as you can animate the Transparency or the size however you like.
