How do i get easy, realistic security laser beams?? Would I use the laser effect or the neon light effect? I also want to know how to have intensity flickers? Any help?

Just open up the effects tab, then go into laser, there is already laser beams, and even a laser sweep, which is quite good. As for the flicker, I think you could use the glow attribute to alter the "flicker effect"

To get realistic laser beams, you are probably going to need some sort of smoke/fog effect to define them, as real laser beams can't generally be seen until there is something in the air for them to shine through. Using a particle smoke effect as the alpha source of an object mask on the laser beams would lend a nice realism to the effect.

The laser tool will be easier than the neon light tool, if only because the laser tool only requires two points instead of four.
