Whenever I try to move around the canvas using the right click on the mouse, it wont work. I know my right click is working because when I use it on the zoom bar, it centers the video.

I am using the latest trial version on an intel mac.
Any help would be appreciated.

You have to hold down the click. It's a click-and-drag thing.

Did you accidentally switch the buttons on your mouse? Unlikely.

On each corner of the canvas/viewport (not the picture, but the canvas itself) are little arrows. Hold down one of them and drag your mouse around. But be careful; it tends to send the picture speeding away if you go too fast. Should that happen, look underneath the Playback tab in the top left menu. There's a button saying "Focus Canvas". Click that and you'll automatically center the canvas.

Oh, one more thing just occurred to me. Do you mean zoom in or move around? You said "zoom around" and I'm kind of thinking, "huh?" I'm assuming you want to move around. You can't zoom with the right-click.

You're welcome. cool

I meant move around. The corner tabs work fine, I just figured the right click method would be faster. But its still not working and the mouse buttons aren't switched.

Unless it doesn't work in the trial. Althought that would seem unlikely. Is there a clip on your canvas, or is it an effect?

That's weird. Hey, I've got an answer to your problem!

Something's wrong!

Oh, that was useful.

But seriously, that's a bit weird. It ought to work in the trial, that's hardly a "wow" kind of feature, you know? I don't remember figuring it out until I actually bought the thing, so I don't know. crazy

Right click unfortunately doesn't work on the Mac, you need to hold down Ctrl when left clicking to do a 'right click'.
