I have two error messages upon the creation of an object.

1: "String expected [#hack: #idle_app]"

2: "Index out of range"

Now the video is completely frozen and I cannot add or edit anything. What caused this? How can I fix it?

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems. When exactly do you encounter this error message?

There are several things to check:

* Did you install the software to an account on your computer that has full administrator permissions and access?
* Are you running the software from the same account it was installed to?
* Make sure the 'FileVault' system is turned off (Mac only).
* Try fixing your permissions using Disk Utility (Mac only).

After checking the above points, please try performing a clean reinstall exactly as described here:

Well, when I undid the last created object that I had it was freezing, however when I saved that undo, and reentered the program, the video and the entire program worked as though nothing had happened. I could continue on with no problems. I don't know what this problem is, but whatever those error messages are... I get them when I'm editing over long periods of time.
