There are several things to check:
* Did you install the software to an account on your computer that has full administrator permissions and access?
* Are you running the software from the same account it was installed to?
* Make sure the 'FileVault' system is turned off (Mac only).
* Try fixing your permissions using Disk Utility (Mac only).
