I made a post yesterday about suggestions for Website improvments, and it was replied to, but today it has vanished. It isn't just because more topics have been posted, because the posts that were below it are still there. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I didnt personally delete your post (or even see it) so I cant tell you exactly why it was deleted. It was probably deleted by one of our mods for a good reason. Prehaps it was redundant; it might have been covered many times in the past and someone decided we didnt need another thread about it. Was it in the right forum? For example this thread is in the wrong forum (Im gonna move it after writing this), threads usually get moved, but if a mod is having a rough night they might well just hit the delete button instead. Could it have been offensive in any way, judging by your other posts I think this is unlikely but it is possible to post something offensive without even realising it. Did it have a bad title? Mods usually retitle things, but again, if he's having a rough night he might choose to delete it instead.
Those are the main reasons, although theres loads of more subtle reasons that could be more specific to your post. If you still think your post was worthwhile I suggest you carefully think about it and then rewrite it in the appropriate forum

Maybe the person who deleted it could tell me why they did?

Because its already in one of the other suggestion posts.
Also if you post things in the wrong place or with a bad none descriptive title then sometimes they don't get moved and just get deleted.
