Putting text onto photos

Will you guys update the software soon so that we can insert our own text on the photos within photo key software.

It is possible to add your own text, provided you have an image editor with alpha channel capabilities (GIMP is a free option). Just type up whatever text you want to use, save it in an image with a transparent background, and use the Overlay controls in Photokey to import it and stick it over your footage. Then you can resize and reposition it to your liking.

If they eventually added an internal text engine, that would be nice, and more convenient, but in the meantime this is a fairly simple way to get the same results.
