hello all I resently bought composite lab pro and am looking into buying effects lab (vision is out of present budget) and as I looked around the site some more I noticed that all the lighting effects are only for vision labs. If I were to get effects lab would I be able to use the downloadable lighting effects from here or am I just left high and dry when it comes to thoughs effects and is there no way to make effects like that without vision labs or AE with the lighting plugin?

Do you mean the lightning effects? If so, yes, they are only available in VisionLab Studio.

That being said, there are several lightning effects available in the AlamDV downloads section as stock footage, and those can be composited in using EffectsLab. And I believe there are a couple lightning presets created with the neon light engine, which are also compatible with EffectsLab.

So you are much more limited, but it is still possible to do some lightning effects with EffectsLab.
