|2009 Winner of Titular Head, the Grinnell College student film festival. I should have submitted this ages ago.|
On a typical day in Grinnell, IA, a Jedi Knight (Alex Reich) and Sith Lord (Kyle Lynch-Klarup) battle across campus, encountering Imperial Walkers, Indiana Jones, and even Harry Potter.

Wow! That was utterly superb.
After a slightly slow start (mainly the bike/skiing bit) this rapidly escalates to Completely Mad (tm) levels. Brilliantly shot and edited, fight choreography that for the most part felt fun and fresh rather than a rip-off, and some really solid effects work.
The fighting might not be as extended and tightly choreographed as the RvsD stuff, but the overall imagination, humour and inventiveness in this I much prefer.
Particularly liked the inventive fight situations, such as on top of the goal post, the leap from the balcony, etc.
Two favourite bits? Firstly the awesome shot in the tiled (shower?) room, when the Jedi leaps past the camera in a flurry of light and movement. Great, great shot! And secondly the genius bit with the Jedi trying to stop his backwards momentum by sticking his saber in the ground. Fantastic.
Probably my favourite Star Wars action fanfilm, right up there with George Lucas In Love and Troops.

Really great stuff that! I especially liked the lightsaber fight, because you weren't using the normal angles - it felt new and refreshing. if only Lucas could've thought of it..

I liked this a lot when I first watched it when you first posted it. Solid technically, and enough creative ingenuity to elevate it as a whole. Also has a good 'cool' factor; which coupled with the bits of humor makes this a veritable five-star classic.
5/5. Enough said.

Finally! A StarWars fanflick I can actually stomach! This was so VERY ORIGINAL. One compared it to Ryan vs Dorkman, please this is so much better becasue it DOES NOT take itself so serioulsy! That is what makes it FUN! All the other fan flix are so serious about the Jedi-swhlub-bub-bub!
The Stormtrooper cloning was genius! You used the FXH effects well, and teh fight scenes were great! I love the ending with the Darth Maul death. I watched over and over to see how it may have achieved.

Hi there, this is my first ever posting on here as I have only just bought my FX home stuff, have to say, absolutely loved this, great humour, good effects, just one question though, what did you use to render the ATAT's? as they look brilliant.
Keep up the great work.

Seen a lot of lightsaber battles in the user movies and this is by far one of the best. Love the Indiana Jones and HP parody too. Hope you continue. Will give me a level to shoot for as I work on my own film project. Thank you.
