The epic story continues...

The strange green energy balls continue to spew from the contaminated building, covering the city. Many have already succumbed to them, but there is perhaps one last, desperate hope...

------

This is part of an early test cut.

Okay. I'm not going to sleep for weeks, after seeing that smiley face.

Very kewl 3d once again, and very well implemented into the scene smile

Bad acting though, he didn't quite have the hero "grrrr" factor confused

Still a 4 stars though, can't wait till the rest to finally make sense of all this smile

loved the bit where he is beating himself up with the bin smile very amusing...

Somewhat lost as to why he comes back as a ginat smiley though crazy

Don't worry, the next part explains what the hell is going on. smile

As for the acting....I think Adam is great. He looks like the guy from Braindead, and has a certain Bruce Campbell charm going on. Although in that scene he's more like the first Evil Dead Campbell, in that he doesn't know what's going on and is a bit of a wimp.

The 'hero' thing comes in next, when he gets his weapon. smile

There were two problems in part 3 for me.

I have no idea what he was saying at the begining and the background car sounds hurt my ears sad

the camera and the green ball were excellent.

the smiley face thing is cool, but it seemed a bit outta place....too smoth compared to the rest of the picture.

and i don't think maybe you should cut him off closing the doors...or...he should of closed them ALOT faster. got boring.

Way to go tarn!

I liked it very much. Agree with Cypher on some of the points. I was confused when the actor did the raise eyebrow look then ran away. That look said "I am going to go kick that things spiky teeth in" but then he ran away crazy

How are you getting time to do these AND everything else. What is your secret? Is there cloning involved? wink

i cant wait for the MENTOR to make an appearance. will this be sooooon? biggrin

Very cool. the sound effects when the green thing was in the box were... well... lame. lol. Besides, that I thought it was pretty cool. How many of these do you plan on making?

Hey all. smile

Yeah, Cypher, the sound at the start of part 3 is appalling, I know. sad Unfortunately Adam wasn't available to loop his lines, so I just had to go with what we had. It's a shame - hopefully for the finished version we'll find the time to sit down and re-record his dialogue there.

Glad people seem to like the green spiky ball thing now...even if it still doesn't really make any sense! smile

As for the smiley face being out-of-place...well, just about every weird thing that has happened so far has been a bit out of place. Note that Brucey was a little perplexed by it as well. smile

The ending to this one was a bit rubbish, but it'll make more sense with the next part.

X - Don't worry, Brucey kicks some ass in forthcoming installments. smile

As for finding time to do these and everything else...well, the trick is that it was all filmed last summer. smile All I'm doing now is editing and adding effects...although that's a fair bit of work too.

Next part is pretty effects intensive (although some of you might have caught a glimpse of it about 9 months back..............), but the part after that is thankfully pretty much just editing. Although crazy editing.

I need a vacation.

Aww, av11d, I love those noises the box makes!

They're very deliberately meant to sound like that. My little homage to Evil Dead 2's possessed hand. smile

Greyo - the effects when it's trapped in the box aren't 3D effects, they are, of course, just alamdv2 lightsword effects.

Sorry about the lack of females in this one - I promise they'll be back soon and, of course, in trouble from which they need rescuing.

Hey Ben.

Ep4 will be out ASAP...I've been delayed through work commitments and preparing for the move back to Norwich, trying to sort the house out etc...

Hopefully I'll get back on it next week sometime.

Parts 4 and 5 should come out quickly, as part 5 doesn't really have any extensive or complex effects...

I watched all three parts that you have on the site. They were pretty good. Will the other parts ever be added?

Hopefully!

The movie was filmed several years ago now, and it is a great shame that I haven't had the time to finish it off, as the entire cast really put their all into it - you haven't seen some of the backbreaking (nearly literally...) work they put in for the later scenes.

Once I have enlarged the storage space on my editing machine it should be a more viable prospect - currently the film is too long for me to edit it easily.
