i think the bullet shells and casings that are included now are good, but they look too fake and out of place, a way to fix that is to add a motion blur to the casings, that would make them much better

i have been thinking about doing this...

I agree with the motion blur and everything, it's just i am thinking of the best way to make them - with a particle system firing out 1 particle shaped as the bullet casing at a time, or by animating it manually unsure

Any idea 3ds max'ers?

Hmm.. First make an own animation of 1 or 2 bullet casing.
If you want realy many.. like submachine guns and stuff.. i would use particle system, But it's hard to get it in "control".

I could probleby make that plug-in.. so i get that little plug-in icon.
Just so you know TMM.. I just got 3dsmax 5!!!

It's mostly new advanced effects... that i don't understand.
But some pretty useful stuff to... that makes it easier to work with.
And a brand new way to make that "cartoon" look.
That's about it.

I got it for free from my cusin that works with 3d stuff. So i would never pay so much for theese new fetures... but it's good when you have them lol

Agree - way to expensive, but you can do motion blur with Max 4.2

Check out the new bullets I uploaded.

Hey TMM - yeah I did stumble across it quite by accident actually. Not to worry about the flame. Mine is a different angle. The bullets come up quite nicely when rendered at different angles. Watch out for some flubber renderings! KermZ
