Well I have two problems.
1) I tried to download an update for EffectsLab Pro, but during the installation phase, it says:
Can not write to file:
C:\Program Files\Fxhome EffectsLab Pro\shared\cursor.cxt

I have no idea what that means.

2)I was recently organizing files in my Fxhome folder, and when i opened EffectsLab, none of the presets were on there. I thought I put all of the presets in a folder, but when i imported them, there were only 63 (I had more, but these seem to be the ones that i personally downloaded from the website). I just think that it can't locate them. So, what should I do? Should I just re-download all of them? If I could get the update it would probably get rid of the problem, but I can't.

Once you have it downloaded, proceed with a clean re-install following these directions:

If you still have the presets you downloaded from the site in a folder, then you can just re-install them from there after you finish installing the application.

Thanks. I actually figured it out. While I was re-organizing my folders and files earlier, I moved a few EffectsLab folders, So I think it just couldn't find them. I put them back and it works just fine now, as long as I don't move the folders out of their current location.

The error you received sounds like you were trying to install the new version of the software while you still had the application running.
