Hello, I've finished my project which I opened as a widescreen project, the input file was widescreen, but when I render off as an AVI file it's standard 4:3! Also, regarding garbage matts, do you have to create a new one each time the scene shifts slightly?

As regards the widescreen rendering, here is a knowledgebase article entitled Why isn't my rendered video in widescreen anymore?"

As as to the garbage mattes, you can animate them, so its probably easiest to use a single matte, and animate it over time, rather than creating new ones. However, its hard to say for certain without knowing the specifics of the scene in question.
