When i click on the render button first a box pops up saying to name my movie. Then another box pops up saying stuff about the quality the data rate and key frames. My question is about the key frames. Is it supposed to render every 15,20,25 frames or is it supposed to render all of the frames. Thanks

The keyframes setting in the Compression settings window affects how you navigate your movie after it is rendered. If, for example, you set a keyframe every 30 frames in an NTSC clip, then when you advance or back up through the rendered movie, you will be forced to move in 1 second increments. If you keyframes every 10 frames, you could move around in 1/3 second increments. If you keyframed every frame, you could navigate to any from of the clip. If you keyframed every 150 frames, you would have to move in 5 second increments.

I'm not sure how clear that was; did you follow me?
