Did you set your "in" and "out" points?
This is what tell the Lab products the length of video that you want to render.
Go to your first frame and click the letter "I" for in then go to your last frame and click the letter "O" for out.

What file format is the video you imported? Have you tried exporting to both AVI and QuickTime if you are on Windows? Some people find that some versions of QuickTime are buggy and have to use AVI.

You can normally attach your sound in your NLE. What codec are you using when you try to export your video?

I'm having the same damn problem! I'm starting with an AVI I used a couple of weeks ago, but wanted to improve on what I had done then. I'm using the same AVI file I used for the first project. Didn't have any problems then. But now when I try to render it stops at either 30 or 26 frames! And as far as sound goes. I've never been able to keep the sound for any of my projects. Always have to copy the sound from the original and place it back in using another program.
But I want to know WTF this won't render now?!?
