Would like to make multiple backgrounds for a single image. I offer a proof plan for underclass and have 9 backgrounds for each of 2 images of each subject. Wondering if that's possible.

Unfortunately, its not. Its a feature I would love to see also, though.

Use a photo editor to combine them into one image and use that as a background. Would that work?

Not really. The question has to do with the ability to use the automation to batch a lot of backgrounds at once. Doing them one at a time is totally possible in PhotoKey, and doesn't take all that long, but it does take significantly longer than if you could process them all at once as a batch.

My bad, I relized that about an hour later (and 50 miles away from my laptop)

Although you can't automatically batch backgrounds, you can still automate most of the process, by simply batching all the photos with background1, then swapping to background2 and re-batching the same selection, etc.

We're certainly aware of the interest in further automation, though.

I would also like to have the ability to load multiple backgrounds so that I can flip through backgrounds to find the "right" one for the foreground image.

You can have up to 5 backgrounds loaded in a round about kind of way. The drop down arrow beside the load background button saves the path to the recently used backgrounds. You can reload any of those from there easily.
Load up 5 favourite backgrounds and save the workspace as a project and you are good to go anytime.

Oh Yeah,,, first post. HI tard

PLease help .. I downloaded Photokey 3 Pro after deleting the demo from the imac .. I am trying to "add" backgrounds ( up to 5) to my "list" so that I can change them easily.. the background menu reads"change" with a "+" symbol next to it and the dimmed upside down triangle that I would use for the menu to switch added backgrounds.. my problem is the that multiple backgrounds are not loading and saving.. what can i do? also the "preference" word in the menu remains dim, I cannot select it .. am i still in demo mode? how can i check? is this effecting my background-loading problem? THANKS MUCH FOR ANY HELP!

You cannot load more than one background at a time, as previously discussed and explained in this thread. Batch processing applies to foreground images, not backgrounds.

Multiple backgrounds is a feature that several people in this thread have requested, and is generally considered would be a useful addition to the program.
