There was stock footage as well. It's rare for me to do a visual effect without some stock footage being used. The stock was all composited using VisionLab, though, of course. smile

Is the stock footage you used available from the store and if so what pack?

It's a mixture of stock from a variety of sources, including our own stock. I believe I made use of the explosions and sparks packs. It's easy to lose track once you start layering things on. biggrin

Good to see another video up. Might be handy for those wanting to replicate your work if they can have accurate info' in regards to the stock vs in-house sources, etc.when you show the tutorial.

Like the flickering glow on the ground. And the colour grading. Good 'epic' grading. Good stuff, Tarn.

That's really good, just wondering how you put youtube videos on the forums? When i check your post it looks like you used html instead of bb-code.

Struker: According to the video description on YouTube, he only used Visionlab:

This Video was created only with FxHome VisionLab and the Editing Software Video Deluxe. [...] I used mostly stock footages in HD and Clip extracts from AlamDV2. But the lightning presets and effects were generated by me.
AF: Unless you are FXhome staff, you cannot embed YouTube vids into the forums. A simple alternative is to link to them, as BlackPyro has admirably demonstrated.

I have been watching this one, and it's been very informative.

I hope you continue with others in the future.
