where do I download my effects to? I tried downloading them to a certain folder where I keep other effects at but they do not show up. Is there a folder within composite lab I have to download it to?

Composite Lab > File > Import Fxpreset Pack

Just download the .zip to your desktop or really anywhere, then open up your fxhome program, go to file, then import fx preset pack, its right above exit. Then select the .zip folder you downloaded from fxhome.

And make sure your only downloading presets compatible with Composite Lab. Its compatible if you see the logo for Composite Lab as a thumbnail on it.

How do I import new presets? - an article from the knowledgebase, also linked in the Support FAQ at the top of this forum. It should answer your quesitons about the importing process.

Also from that FAQ, here's a link to a video on the preset system, which also walks you through the process.
