Ah yes... I thought that judging by the votes for the movie.

This movie is very interesting... One of the most interesting here, because I really don't know what to think of it... smile

I think the first shots look terrible (way too shakey) until the closeup of your face, wich looks very good. I liked the scanner effect and the voice "engage scanner" over it...
Then the shot where you're coming down is again too shakey. The next one from behin if pretty interesting. I like the way you stand there, almost like a comic-hero. had something very cool to it. And I liked the detail of the jetpacksmoke (it disappeared too fast tough).
The Actionsequence with the robot looks good, but the second part where you shoot that house was a little confusing - I couldn't make sense of it.
The closeup of your sunglasses again is very cool. Great idea to use the mirror-effect of the glasses.
And the next shot is my one of my favourite... That girl is fantastic... so the gunfight-scene with her looks great until the cut between the two shots where the axe is seen. That cut stops the actionmovement pretty fast and doens't really flow.
But the best shot in the film is the last one... It has great lighting and timing. (especially the lighting... I really like that lighting)

I'd love to see more of your films... Im not really sure what to think, some shots are great, some seem very rushed... All together there's a lot of absolutely different quality in the film.

BRA...FUC*IN...VO. THAT WAS SOME IMPRESSIVE STUFF. I DON'T LIKE FILMS WITH JETPACKS AND ROBOTS AND STUFF, BUT WITH YOU I'LL MAKE AN EXCEPTION. THE WAY YOU FILMED WITH THE CAMERA SPINNING AROUND THE GUYS HEAD AND THE REFLECTIONS ARE EXACTLY THE WAY I FILM STUFF, (ALTHOUGH PARTS OF YOURS WAS A LITTLE TOO SHAKY) SOME PRETTY GOOD EXPLOSIONS. BUT THE BEST THING ABOUT IT WAS... AND I THINK YOU KNOW WHERE I'M GOING WITH THIS, WAS THAT WOMAN. SOME REAL IMPRESSIVE MOVES, NOT EXACTLY THE WAY I'D FILM IT, BUT CLOSE. SHE LOOKS REAL GOOD IN THE LONGSHOTS, FLIPPING ABOUT GUN BLAZING, JUST LIKE MICHELLE YEOH, BUT WHEN YOU CUT TO THE CLOSEUP, I WAS DELIGHTED TO FIND OUT THAT SHE WAS RATHER NICE LOOKING TOO. PERFECT LEADING ROLE STUFF. (THE BEST LOOKING GIRL I KNOW IS CAMERA SHY, DAMN DAMN DAMN.) I HOPE YOU CARRY ON MAKING MOVIES, JUST MAYBE WITH LESS ROBOTS AND MAGIC POWERS, MORE OF HER. lol

I'm really glad to hear some of your positive comments on this movie...the reason the shots were put together without much transition is because i had to work with what i had. I only had one day to work with my friend Heather (girl in the movie), by the way- she's pretty hot isn't she?

Another reason why the transitions were not smooth was because its a dream- what dream have you had which has a flowing scene? your dreams cut from one thing to the next and you have no idea why...

the very very beginning was me running with camera (It's obvious because its so shaky, anyone have any suggestions on how to run with the camera without making it shake?) I mean without using some sort of stabalizer...i really like that effect so i'd like any advice anyone could give me....

And about the other movies---i've got some but none that i used alamdv effects the whole time so i can't submit. rolleyes

Maybe instead of running, you could walk briskly and then slightly speed up the footage during the editing phase smile I agree that it was way too shaky: that was migraine-inducing stuff, bro!

Your friend Heather has moves from hell: are you sure she isn't a 'Superagent' in real life? biggrin

Very, very good movie. I have to agree with everyone that it was too shaky at the beginning. That's the only reason that I didn't give it a 5. I loved the reflection in the glasses and that Heather girl is REALLY hot. (She's good at her part, too, but no one was really looking at her acting.) Oh, yeah. I really liked the "whoa" line at the end! It made the movie very good. Good endings are hard to come by. Liked the music, too. And for your next movie, LET'S SOO MORE OF HEATHER!!!!!

I was wondering that, if there's a list of music, why spend hours trying to figure it out. it's not as if it's at the end of a 5 minute list of credits. I dunno, some people eh. biggrin

As everyone else has said, very nicely put together and feels like a nice mini-movie. Shame about the shaky stuff, but that's cool.

The one gripe I have with this movie is the sound. It's all great, but then there are times when it doesn't work. Like when the axe hits the tree, no sound. ???? Shame, cause that would've really enhanced this film.

Adam.

P.S. Still thought it was great and gave it 4 stars. smile

I"m going to update my movie and make it just the way you like it...i'm going to take out the shaky beginning, put in a LOUDER AX SOUND EFFECT even though i can hear it fine....make the quality of video bigger as well as file size and maybe change something else....

so stay tuned wink

Alright, well i didn't update much..i took out the first part (shaky one) and put in an axe effect....oh wow big deal, huh?

I tried to make heather slow down even more in the last part but it screwed up for some reason (was really choppy) and the part where i fly down from the house theres no way i can make that smooother- i just don't have the footage for it....

but anyhow, i hope this changes some of the next votes from a four star to a five star smile

I would of given it a better rating BUT i thought that camera following the path thing was really cheap. That's it. tard

Jirwin, I must say that this movie was one of the best. ALlthough it did not have a steady plot, it was very good. I can tell that this is one of those "I'm bored, lets make a movie" types of films. The camera could have been a little bit steadier at the jetpack shot, but other than that, it was perfect. The idea of putting the reflections of the explosions on your sunglasses was very cool. And the best thing is, you got a girl to be in there! I know how hard it is to get a hard working female for one of my movies. And the ending, that just finished the task. Great job! I hope to work on another movie with you soon!
