Hi; sorry to make another thread, but this is a pretty big problem.
Okay, so I'm trying to render a video with CLab. The rendering process starts, then it freezes 2 frames in and I see the message "Macromedia Projector is not responding". So I close the program and try again. Same thing, two frames in. This is a big issue because it's a school project I need finished by Jan. 7. Not to pressure anyone, but I'm barely meeting the deadline as it is. (Probably won't be able to sleep tonight.)

Appreciate help.

PS. I don't want to try a clean re-install, as I think it deletes every project. That would be really bad at this stage of the game.

A clean re-install will not delete any projects, ever, unless you manually delete them yourself as part of the process. If you follow the instructions, no projects will ever be deleted.

What render settings are you using? What codec are you rendering to? Do you get this error even if you switch codecs, or if you switch formats?

Glad you got it working. However, it would also be nice to get your .avi rendering capabilities working properly. What .avi codec were you rendering to? Do all .avi codecs present that problem?

Well, to start with, .avi and .mov are formats, not codecs, which are an entirely different thing.

Do you have the latest version of Quicktime installed? Is your DirectX up to date?
