This week we've been in the presence of Axel 'Axeman' Wilkinson himself, who has flown over to the UK to visit FXhome HQ (as well as other places in the country). For the last three days he's been acting as an Expert User Consultant, offering feedback and suggestions on both past and future FXhome products.

As you know, we've always let our customers influence the direction of our product development and with some of the new projects we're working on this is even more important to ensure that we're heading in the right direction. The good news is that Axel has approved of our designs and ideas so far, so we're still on track!

We'd like to thank Axel for coming all this way to have us blatter him with information. It helps us be even more confident that the road we're heading down is the right one and an exciting one - for both us and you guys.

Thankfully the snow is all gone.

The stuff that is being planned and worked on is very exciting indeed. I'm sure the FXhome team would like to tell you all about it, at least as much as i would like to, but its too early to say anything yet. For now, I'll just say that I don't expect the community to be disappointed when it finally comes out. Its been a pleasure and a privilege to have the opportunity to come over here and provide input.

Thus far I've not had a lot of chance to explore the UK and see stuff, but its still been quite enjoyable thus far, and the rest of the trip should be even more exciting, from that standpoint.

Cool stuff! Always neat to see the community come together like this, reminds me of Redhawk with the film project or Hybrid and er-no with NighCast.

Are you guys going to NAB this year? If so maybe I'll see ya. biggrin

Arktic - I'll be in London for most of the remainder of my trip, should arrive down there by Sunday, then be around town for a week.

I never seriously considered blackmail until this point.
Anyway, it's very exciting to hear the FXhome has something up their sleeve...Any ideas when we'll find out some more about it?

As Axeman says, we'd love to tell you about what we're working on, but it's a bit premature at the moment.

Some details will start to emerge later in the year. As long as you keep an eye on the news page, our Twitter feed or our Facebook page you'll be kept in the loop!

Sounds like a great trip Axeman. I'm sure the FXhome team is excited to hear you input and share a little of what they are working on. You have helped so many on these forums and it has been very much appreciated.
