I always exported my videos with the default compression type, which was simply called "Video."
You can see that in the picture of compression settings on this page: http://support.fxhome.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=20&nav=0,2,4,25

I changed the compression once just to try it out, and now the "Video" codec is gone from the list. Why is it gone? How do I get it back?

When I used that compression type my footage was deinterlaced, but the other compression types can't seem to deinterlace. I want to use the default one I'm used to using.

Are you exporting to Quicktime or AVI?

When I look at the info of the file in quicktime, it says the codec is Apple Video
How do I get that codec back?
