You can't create lightning in EffectsLab like you can using the Lightning engine in VisionLab, but as I mentioned before, there is a "Force Lightning" preset that was created using the Neon Light engine. It can be found here:http://fxhome.com/presets/view/845/force-lightning
If you go to that link, you'll notice a "Supported Applications" section that shows which products it will work in. To the right and above that is a Category section that tells you which effect the preset will show under when you import it. In this case, it says Neon Light, so in EffectsLab you would click on the Effects tab in the upper right of the screen, then click on the Neon Light effect, and then scroll to the desired preset below.
The "Lightning Flare" preset that I mentioned is not actually a lightning effect, but rather a lens flare to enhance a lightning effect. It can be found here:http://fxhome.com/presets/view/936/lightning-flare
That page shows that this is a lens flare preset located in the preset section of the Optics engine.
