Hey guys,
I've been wanting to get a 64 bit system for a while but have been procrastinating.
Tomorrow I'm thinking of upgrading to Windows 7 64 bit... I know VL works with the 32 bit OS as stated in the specs product page but I was wondering if anyone has tried the 64 bit version yet and whether there are any problems with it?
The only programs I use are Word/photoshop/corel/gimp/vegas/ blender/visionlab/morpheus/celtex/ a few others but I forget.

Just wondering because yesterday, I helped my brother upgrade his 8 year old xp and installed Windows 7 64 bit on his pc and it sure is running fast and it looks kinda purty. Anyway... I didn't want to spend the cash on a new OS if Visionlab won't work on it.
Thanks for any help. biggrin Man I sure hope it does.

The only problems i have had with Windows 7 are
Flash MX2004 is glitchy
older webcams do not work
Visual Studio 6 doesn't run

Just a little update for anyone that gives a darn. biggrin
I couldn't sleep and went to Bestbuy around 10:00 am. A bunch of folks looked at me kinda weird. I must have looked Taliban or something like I did last August in the airport when I flew to Montana for a wedding, they almost didn't let me on a plane. I wore no metal and even wore Reefs to makes things go by faster in the security checkout but I kept setting off the metal detectors. Anywaaaaay...

After installing the 64 bit OS, I installed and opened an HD project in Visionlab. I've really got to tell you guys, it does make a great differance when your computer uses all of the ram available, also the video card. I performed a RAM preview which flew by like a breeze. Oh and I had to go back to bestbuy to purchase a new wireless router and adapter which is Windows 7 compatible. Not to big of a deal... sort of.

Yeah so I'm really exited and am fixing to install my video and photo editors. I hope they work just as well as Visionlab. biggrin
