hey cant figure out how to unzip files and import them into effects lab. You see i'm downloading them onto a flashdrive then transferring them over to my computer that has all my editing software (FX effectslab included. help?

You don't have Winzip or some derivative of that program to unzip the files?

Or you CAN unzip them but CAN'T import the files?

You wouldn't need unzip or anything else to un-zip the folder (assuming your using windows). Copy the folders into my videos (or anywhere else for that matter, just take em' off the hard drive). Then select the folder and on the left hand side there ought to be an option " extract all files " Run it and the folder extraction wizard will do it's job. Then import the video file in effectslab.
While your at it you may want to take a look at this knowledge base article. It deals with composting stock footage.
