The most likely problem is low quality. Try rendering in a higher quality codec.

Mmm, not to be contrary, but in my experience the most likely culprit is high quality. If you are rendering uncompressed, your computer won't be able to play it back without glitching, especially if its HD footage. Without some detail regarding what render settings you are using, what format your footage is in, and what exactly you mean when you say 'glitching', its hard to offer anything more specific though.

But if you are rendering to uncompressed, keep in mind that it isn't a codec that is intended to be played back directly, and no computer will be able to process the data fast enough to keep up.

No problem. I've had the problem before and the issue was a low frame rate and high compression. smile
