Hey guys I'm a new comer with this software and my problems is, I set my start point and my end point on a time line and I rendered just that section and played it back in real time and now I have sections blacking out, do I have to do it all over? how can I fix this?

Did you do a preview render on the timeline, or did you render out the section to a new video file? Can you clarify what you mean by 'sections blacking out'?

I rendered 1 section of footage and when I play it back in real time it's skipping when it gets to that part of the footage.

As Tarn asked, are you doing a preview render (clicking the icon next to the timecode field to the left of the timeline or choosing the Preview Timeline Selection in the Playback menu) or are you rendering to a video file (clicking "render" in the menu and then choosing a codec and filename to create a new video file)?

Hey! I'm on the timeline then I set my in's and out's and then I go up to the top of the page and then I select render. I'm also having problems viewing my footage using a jpeg or still picture, I'm able to see my media but my backgrounds aren't showing up until I hit the animation key then the image or jpeg shows up but I can't see my footage.
Thank you for your help.

So you're viewing a video file that you have rendered out of the software? What render and compression settings are you using?
Your other problem sounds like it's to do with the different canvas display modes. Different modes will display different layers of your project. You can see the current mode listed at the top right of the canvas.

You should be able to open any saved projects that you created with the demo in the full version as well, then you'll just have to render from the full version to create a file without the watermark.

Good morning all! I opened up the full version and rendered it again under a new file name and when I imported it into Final Cut the water mark was still there. I'm almost there, maybe there's another way around this.

You are still rendering from the demo then. Make sure you fully uninstall the demo before re-downloading the installer for the full version and re-installing. They use completely different installers.Instructions for a clean re-install.
