Hi!

I use CompositeLab Pro and I like it a lot.
In the "Comparison chart" VisionLab has a + regarding "Advanced compositing" and "Composite filters".
The project I am working with now use 90 % greenscreen photage.
So I am very interested in knowing if these extra features are worth an upgrade to VisionLab?
Buy the way, I often get the "String expected"-message and have to reboot.
Is this a Windows 7 error that will be fixed or do I have to live with it?

This doesn't answer your question about the advanced compositing features, but you'd have access to all of the special effects from EffectsLab in addition to the advanced compositing features, so that's something else to keep in mind.

As far as the error you mentioned being related to Windows 7; I've been using Windows 7 since before I first started using CompositeLab and EffectsLab and I've never had that error. Did you install CompositeLab by right-clicking and choosing "Run as administrator" and then also after installing, launch the program by setting it to always run as administrator? Having done those two things, I've not had any problems with either program.

Also make sure you're running the latest version of the software, as we released an update around Christmas that fixed a memory issue on Windows 7.

Hi!

I'm pretty sure I have the latest version of CompositeLab.
(But I will check as soon as I'm back in the studio.)
So you say that I ought to reinstall the software then reinstall and
choose "Run as administrator"?
Is there some safe way of uninstalling without losing my "projects"?
Back to my first question: -can anyone specify the exactly what the
"extra compositing features" are?
I have some very tricky green screen scenes to work with.
I would upgrade right now if only I had the money,
but I will have to wait for the cash to roll in before I can do so.

I forgot one question.
Can I open my "CompositeLab-projects" in VisionLab?
