How do I access projects across multiple computers? I got the Pro version specifically so I could work on my projects from different computers, but I have not found any instructions on how to make this work.

I created a large PhotoKey project on my laptop. I copied the saved projects from my laptop to a thumb-drive and put them on my desktop, but when I open the project it does not find the photos. I thought it might be indexed to find the photos in the original folder of the laptop, so I copied the original folder, using the same name, with the photos to the desktop to the same picture file location of the desktop, but it still does not find the photos. I have also tried to open the project directly from the thumb-drive where I copied the folder with the photos, but it will not find the photos from the location either.

If you used the hotfolder function, it's trying to get acces to the files using the same directory only at another pc. So you have to place the original photos in exactly the same directory ( ex. C:\photos\original\) as you have used them on the original pc.

Otherwise you can try changing the hot-folder to the folder you've placed the images in now

Although the photos will initially be offline, you can relink them by choosing that option from their menu in the import list. Once you've relinked one it should find the other ones as well, if they're all in the same folder.

Took me a bit to figure out what you meant by re-linking, but I played around with it until I figured out that if you right-click the first image, it shows the re-link function. Once I re-linked the 1st image, after about 30 secs, it re-linked all the foreground photos correctly.

By the way, is there anywhere in the manual or FAQs that talks about this, because I could not find it? Re-linking is definitely an item that needs to be discussed in the manual.

Thanks very much for both of the replies, it is much appreciated.
