After rendering as a .avi file,I copied my film (1.3GB)to a data stick. When played on my laptop there are two versions of the film which run one after the other. The first has no effects (just actor and greenscreen)the second version is the finished film complete with effects. Please can you tell me what has happened?

Are these two versions in separate files, or is it a single video file?

What was the issue (in case someone else runs into the same problem)?

When I rendered my HD movie to an external HD, I wound up with two versions, an M2T, and a WMP.

I don't know how to remove one of the files.

If you could explain how you solved your problem, it might help me solve mine. Thank you.
