Continuing our unstoppable expansion, this week saw two new faces arrive at FXhome HQ - Ross Turner and Adrian Kerry. We're now officially at risk of causing a county-wide shortage of talented web and software personnel.

Ross is joining the web team as a developer, arriving just after Rebecca and giving Rikki and Malone the kind of firepower they need to blow your socks off. Ross is also a filmmaker, so you might want to check out some of his stuff.

Meanwhile, Adrian is heading up a new QA department, which means that our software is going to be more solid than ever before, and that if anything does go wrong we'll have someone specific to blame.

You might be wondering what on Earth we're doing that requires this kind of rapid expansion. Alas, the curtains of obfuscation must remain closed, for now. There are two things I can reveal:

1. It's going to be awesome and
2. All will be revealed when the time is right.

As is tradition, please give the new guys a warm FXhome welcome.

Are these 'please welcome our new staff' posts going to become a weekly feature of the site?

Its great to have you onboard, Ross and Adrian. I don't know what your jobs will entail, but I've no doubt it will be something AWESOME!!!

I could tell you, but then....you know the rest.

I don't think so. smile The last couple of weeks have been a bit of an exception. If we had new staff starting every week we'd run out of room here pretty fast!

I wonder what I did sign this non-disclosure agreement for. And still I know of nothing. Shame.

With all these new people, you just gotta do a 'Community Update Video' showing off the new talent and unavoidable expansion into a larger office. If you don't have the time, I'll fly to HQ and shoot it. Tickets to Norwich are quite reasonable this time of year. wink

Ha, either way welcome to Ross and Adrian! Hope to see you all around the forums eventually!

It's Andreas! Good to see you're still out there, buddy. We'd never have made it through the Chromanator launch without your wise words on chat. wink

The problem would be shooting it without having a load of top secret stuff in the background of every shot. We don't have a big enough budget for that much rotoscoped blur-o-vision. smile

Welcome to FXhome Ross and Adrian. I have a slight feeling I've met Ross Turner during the FXhome shoot two years ago? Correct me if I'm wrong!

And so, the plans for world domination using WatchingPaintDryLab continues....oh, I probably shouldn't have said that!

Yes, you most probably did! We met Ross through Miranda, who was on the art team. You may remember her for her expert greasing. razz

I wasn't aware that we could have punctuation marks in our usernames. This changes everything.

Edit: Hmm... Apparently we can't have punctuation marks in our usernames... How did you do it, wes?

The punctuation in my name is often referred to as a question mark. It is symbolized by the incomplete sphere and disconnected two-pixel dot. You press Shift>/or?. Pretty simple...

I was just thinking that. Haven't seen Waser on AIM in ages, and I can't seem to find him on Facebook. I miss TaunTaun Burgers and was really looking forward to that goat film. And of course, his posts. Man crush just resurfaced.
