Hey all. This is my 9,999th post on the FXhome.com forums.

As the forum doesn't support 10,000 posts or more per user, this will be my final contribution to the FXhome.com forums.

My time has come.

I'd like to say thank you to everyone that has locked words with me over the years, particularly Aculag and Waser for being funny, Atom and Ben3308 for never compromising even in the face of armageddon (aka topic deletion), Vladkob for almost being called Vladknob, Sollthar for injecting a bit of fun into the proceedings, pdrg and Arktic for being remarkably nice and clever, Axeman for keeping me sane, Hybrid-Halo for being in the industry and er-no for that one time with the electric dog.

It's been good.

Until we meet again.

It doesn't??? I was prepared when your 10,000th post was made to start a topic about your contributions, good will, and general awesomeness. Your kidding right?

A new member called Tran, or TarnTwo or something should spring up soon wink

(with zero fxperience?)

PS - why a limit of 10,000? 32,665 I could understand, but 10,000 is a bit arbitrary unless someone is storing postcount as 4 text characters?! :-$

Don't worry kids...he's just going away to a farm. A special farm in the sky where all the other used up Tarns go to spend their last days. frown

It's actually quite nice up there - there are no Vladkobs or New Godfathers or never-ending cinema submissions to interfere with ultimate tranquility. He will like it there, I promise.

Stop it! I'm on the verge of tears as it is! wink
But seriously, if he won't go ahead and delete 300 of posts then he has to not want to be back, which means this is our fault! We drove him the edge and he doesn't want to come back!

Crazy. I guess I still have some work to do, before I can stop posting. Better get crackin'!

9999 is a worthy number to leave on. You've done your part, now scram. wink

Edit: What's with this?

That's hilarious, but mine's not a photoshop either. You can see for yourself by organizing the members list by posts in descending order.

Edit: Yes... One post closer to my goal.

EDIT: Only 105 users have more posts than me...One post closer.

That's been there for a while...I posted an early sighting last November. Ever since then, the number of infected users has steadily grown to the present amount. It seems to be just another in a series of bugs in this version of forums (of which Tarn has now fallen victim).

I posit that there is a secret forum which only those nine users are privy to, and they spend their entire day posting nothing but fxhome bug reports.

Whoah, I've seen the posts one but not this. There are actually a lot of them, and they decrease in FXperience I'm assuming all the way down to 0.

We'll miss you Tarn, may the FXperience be with you!

EDIT - The profile lies too!

They probably exploited that old 'Cash for FXperience' loophole in the system. Y'know the one where you buy FXhome products and you get FXperience in return? The idiots at FXhome probably haven't even noticed this glitch! wink

Bye Tarn. I can't help but feeling something fishy is going on here. A conspiracy to take over FXHome by blackmailing the staff in order to make them step down perhaps? I guess now we'll never know...

You can all blame rogolo for my slightly obvious ruse. He was the mastermind behind the plot.

So, no, there is no 10,000 post limit. Which means you're going to have to put up with me and Aculag's ramblings for a long time to come.
