Audio is messed up when I render my movie

After I render my movie, the audio is late! But even if I try to adjust it, the video seems to be too slow. But it doesnt look to slow! Im puzzled, can anyone help?

This sounds like your project settings might be incorrect. When starting a new project you need to be sure that your project settings are correct, otherwise you could run into issues like this. In particular check out the framerate and scan method settings.

A method could try using is muting the edited file and taking the original video file, taking the audio from that and applying it as the audio for the edited version. What are you using to assemble your videos? Windows Movie maker? Sony Vegas?

I don't use it but I imagine the method would work. First of all import the edited and the original clip. Put the edited clip on the timeline and mute it. Then take the original video and use the audio as the audio for the edited one. Get what I'm saying?
