i use final cut express to make my movies. when i export to effectslab, everything is all good until i finish adding the effect and render it back to final cut express. when it is back in FCE, the quality is bad and kind blurry or something. you can tell when it cuts to a clip that had an effect added because of it. one thing is that the times get screwed up and i think its because i never set up to effectslab timeline properly. like when i render it back to FCE, the clip is slowed down. all i do is modify the speed back to fit the audio. although, i dont think this relates to the quality problem. please let me know if you have a solution, it would make my movies look better!

thank you so much guys,
Jimmy

If it looks bad, its because you select poor settings when rendering the footage. You should export from Final Cut in a good intermediate codec, like Animation, then render from EffectsLab in that same high quality codec.

Bad quality, in general, comes from the footage being too compressed, which is the result of using the wrong codec for the job. How do I change the codec?
Which codec should I use?
