How to install fxpresets

I downloaded an fxpreset but I can not figure out how to open it, when I try it asks for a program to open it with, I have tried selescting effects lab but it does not work.

You don't open them, ever. You install them. The exact process is detailed in the manual, in this knowledgebase article and in this video tutorial.

You don't open it, open Effectslab Pro. Above the pane where all the presets for an engine are listed click on Import FXPreset pack. Then you choose the Zip file and it will import.

He's using composite lab.

Then open it in Compositelab Pro.
