Both FX Lab Pro and Composite Lab Pro display a message when ever I use them, "Had problems displaying your temp folders." First I tried simply restarting my computer, that didn't help, then I tried re installing FX Lab Pro using Tarn reinstalling guide, so I couldn't have missed any important details in the reinstalling process. So when I was done reinstalling, FX Lab Pro still displayed the same message, and continued not to work.

Plus I forgot to mention this, but whenever I click any of the "button" selections nothing happens. It's as if my FX Lab Pro application is equivalent to blank computer screen with nothing to click or anything.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble, man. BTW, there's an edit button you can use so you don't have to double-post.Here's the knowledgebase article
on temp folder issues. Generally they are related to permissions issues, and I recall on the newer versions of Windows there is a right-click "install as admin" option or something of the sort. Somebody that actually uses Windows would have to give the specifics. But as I recall, sometimes you have to use that option, even if you are logged into an admin account, to get the installation to work properly.

I don't use Windows, so I can't right click and "Run as Administrator," your a Mac user, what would a Mac user do to run something, "as Administrator " or something like that?

Ah, sorry, I neglected to take a look at your icons to see what OS you were using.
On a Mac, you just need to make sure you are logged in to an account with admin privileges, then follow the clean re-install instructions. I realize you already did, but give it another go. What may have changed on your computer recently, that may be related? Have you installed any other software or hardware recently, or updated the OS?

I have updated it, and installed other applications recently, but I'll try reinstalling it, what's there to lose?

My FX Lab Pro folder in my documents is empty, so there's nothing inside FX Lab Pro except the "pictures and buttons" basically...

Can you try creating a brand new administrator account on your Mac and installing and running from that account? This will help to identify whether the problem is account-related.

I created another Admin account tested out FX Lab Pro on the account, FX Lab Pro worked just fine, there were no problems. But I don't want to transfer footage on to that account to add effects, then transfer it back to the account I usually use.

I decided that I would delete the EMPTY FXHome folder from my main account, then transfer the FXHome folder with "stuff" in it to my main account, because maybe, that might make FX Lab Pro on my main account work again. But no it continues to display the message, "Problems making your temp folder."

I followed the instructions for fixing temporary folder issues,
File Vault is turned off,
I repaired my permissions using Disk Utility,
I've reinstalled the software,
I'm running it on my main account (admin),
It still doesn't work...

Unfortunately it does sound like something is conflicting on your main account. That it works fine on the newly created account indicates that there is a problem somewhere with your normal account.
Do you have any additional security-type software on your main account?
