We all know you have been bust working secretly behind the scenes on a new project. Your photographic products being amazing, but and theres always a but are you going to be offering any new proucts for us film makers? either an upgrade of visionlab or a new product all together. Its all good being secretive but prospective buyers may end up forking out for the more expensive after effects to find they could have waited a short while from you goes at FXhome.

Come on I think we all would like a hint at whats to come?

I can't say too much, and I don't want to steal anyone's thunder here, but it's all so exciting, I can barely keep it to myself! I visited FXhome HQ not too long ago, and what I saw pretty much blew my mind. There's some AMAZING stuff that's just around the corner.

I know the team can't say too much at this stage - but trust me when I say that the next development is going to be the biggest and best yet. Huge.

HUGE.

Cheers,
Arktic.

I think I am allowed to say that the project they are working on currently, and have been for some time, is a video product, and I'm sure they will give you some information on it as soon as possible. They are all very excited to be able to share it with everyone, as soon as circumstances allow.

A lack of information isn't always as simple as someone deciding, "Eh, let's not tell them anything yet." There are often other factors involved.

EDIT: Arktic beat me to it, but everything he says is true.

well wouold it hurt for fxhome to announce whether they are actually working on anything new video wise rather than just the photo products. like most people here i have my own very amautuer project on the go an dlike many i want it to be the best it can be. the reason i bought from fx was because of the amazing support that was on offer. excitinga dn mouth watering it may be but to buyers its like waiting for a playstation 4 hoping its not a dodo in disguise.

I'm hoping I don't get into trouble for saying that. I guess I'll see what happens when the Fxhome guys see it.

What I know of FXHome's non-video project development is pretty assuredly going to be very cool as well - so even the video guys who do photo stuff from time to time can have fun with it.

Good news all around, then! Can't wait!

We've never stopped working on the video products. There's always been internal development on them (even when we were concentrating on the photo products). The video side of things has always been our main passion, so it will always be something we continue to improve and evolve in every way we can.

We want to make sure the next thing we release is totally epic, which means we've been testing out a huge number of different ideas. Not all of them have worked out, but every new thing we learn helps to improve the next thing, so it's all time well spent.

I know it's annoying when companies can't tell you exactly what they're working on, it gives the false impression that no progress is being made. But internally things have been developing rapidly, and the entire team is really keen to show off what they're working on, so we're working hard to make that happen.

It has got to be a MOTION TRACKING App!! Nothing else, just a plain old 2D tracker, the same as After Effects already has. That alone would be huge enough!

If you guys at FXHome offer one of those, at an affordable price....

We'll see.

Huh, I just read through this and it peaked my interest. I did a rough calculation, and it's been about 37553 months since the last post. I'd love to learn anything about what FXhome is up to. Any updates?

I may as well chime in - I visited the FXhome HQ with Arktic a while back. It's fair to say that what we saw had us both very excited.

But to say more would be dangerous. We had to sign papers covered in occult symbols with our own blood whilst holding a lit, black candle in our mouths.

"Gasp" eek I barely escaped. I'm glad that I didn't sign anything or drink any of the punch that Tarn tried to force me to drink.
Alas... I'm still on the run and trying to stay one step ahead of these so called FXhomers but they've sent all manner of supernatural beasts after me. After having learned all of their secrets... I don't blame them for dedicating their immediate futures in an all out full scale war in the hopes of ending mine. I won't go down easy though... not that I'll go down on anyone that is... except my girlfriend... damn! gotta stop rambling... See? this is what they do to you! They relentlessly pursue you and call upon whatever dark powers they posses to confuse your mind. Gotta snap out of it. Gotta keep moving. So tired. If I could just close my eyes for five minutes. No! It's them again trying to wear me down. Gotta sign off for now... I can feel their evil bipolar minions watching me.
