Image import issue

I have PhotoKey 3 pro. I run on Vista 64 bit. the program opens up with no problem and I can navigate around the different areas. My problem and this is BIG...when I click on Import, then click on either import of photo or add background, another window (with folders) pops up and then the program shuts down. I have not been able to use it at all. I installed the update of Pro, and my updates are up to date in windows. I had photo key 2 lite and it would happen once in a while but now I can't use the program at all. HELP please...I have a huge photo session coming up in a week and need this program to work for me...after all the money I have put into it.

Are the images you are trying to import on an external drive, or the main system drive? Or do you even get that far? I've never heard of this problem before.

Have you tried re-installing the software? Does the account you are running from have limited permissions on the computer?

I don't even get as far as being able to choose a photo or background...as soon as I click import or add it shuts down. So I can't even choose a drive to import a photo from. It's very frustrating. I have not reinstalled it. I have the disc so I'll try that.
