Does anyone know which FX preset I can use to make an energy ball like the one shown in the magic spell video in the Effectslab Pro gallery?

Have you looked in the downloads page? That's where the preset library is.

Just search something like "energy ball" or whatever you are looking for.

Maybe you mean something like this?

You can tell if the preset works for your application where it shows Supported Applications:
Like this one has the effectslab and the visionlab icon, so that means it will work with effectslab and visionlab.

Thanks, I've already tried looking for it but I couldn't find it. I'll try using the energy ball you showed me.

There are several layers that are used when completely these such effects. If you looked closely, it looks more like an optic because of the spikes and such. And you see they move. A particle peice no doubt. Try experimenting and look around the downloads page, because their ARE some energy balls.

Read instructions on how to place these properly, and maybe get rid of the line.
Cheers!
